I love Fridays! I always have. Although, I have had one bugger of a headache all day. It feels like an elephant has been sitting on my head. I'm really hoping it eases up soon. The kids get their report cards today. They know if they do well that a fun night is in order. Usually a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. I'm sure this evening we'll be heading over to the house of the mouse. I just hope my head can take it.
We don't have any big plans for tomorrow but I sure do for Sunday! I'm either going to-
A. Drive up to In Stitches in Alexandria for their Superbowl sale. Or...
B. Go to the Superbowl sale at the needlework shop here and go browsing around at the antique shops too.
Just me....nobody else.
It's always nice to get something besides bills in the mail. I was happy to see that the mail lady had a package for me today. Inside was a chart that I ordered from The Sampler Girl a couple of weeks ago. I've decided that every time I finish a piece from the First Ladies Sampler Series, I'll order a new one that I don't have. The one that arrived today was the Dolley Madison Sampler. It's a really great piece. It won't take as long to stitch as it took me to stitch Abigail's Sampler For John. I've already gone through my threads and pulled out what I have, and have made a list of what I still need. I'll be shopping for the rest when I'm Superbowl stashing on Sunday :). I've got a birthday gift that I must finish before I can get started on her. I plan to work on it quite a bit this weekend.
Here's a newer pic of my little sewing/crafting room since I added a few things to one of the walls. I had to have the little Raggedy Ann doll. Isn't she cute?! I love little primitive dolls.
I'll be adding more things to the room soon. There's an antique shop downtown that has a lot of old primitive looking wooden shelves. I'm thinking I may pop in soon and get one for one of the other walls in that room. There's a large wall that's still completely bare. I'd like to have some more stitched pieces to hang in there.
